14 Day Emt Course - It is my opinion that they would be cranking out nremt's that really didn't know much. I thought this was amusing if not rediculous. That being said, i had the same accelerated class as @ventmonkey, graduated and had my nremt within a month. I can't imagine you'd retain much of your knowledge for very long after cramming for 2 weeks. The 6 month basic course is the same number of hours as the 2 week. I've run across unitek college training; In my opinion the student is better served 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row.versus 3/4 hours per night for 2 nights a week for months. I live in oklahoma city, ok fyi. I am sure there are those smart enough to absorb everything in this period of time, but i am not one of them. I observed yesterday and 75% of the class was from out of state so there is bound to be someone in here familiar with the book.
